New Upgrade System in the New World Season 4

Welcome to the New World Guides, a source of information and insight into the game we all love! Today, LOLTANK will be talking about some exciting new changes to the upgrade system that have been made available in response to the confusion surrounding the upgrade of items with shards.

The dev team has finally addressed this issue and made a post about it: weapons in OPR now get a third perk when upgrading to 600. Armor, however, does not get a third perk yet.

But don't worry, when Season 4 launches, armor from OPR will also get a third perk on upgrading, along with weapons. In addition, there will be upgrades available for both weapons and armor from War and Invasion with Season 4. Unfortunately, we won't be able to upgrade Gypsum Casts or Breaches in Season 4 due to some technical difficulties.

So, when Season 4 launches, you'll be able to upgrade your armor as well as your weapons from your OPR crates. This will also apply to War and Invasion crates. However, Gypsum crates won't get upgraded in Season 4, and there are no current plans for when or if that will happen.

With these changes, some people are worried that crafting will be killed off. But this isn't the case - none of this gear can roll with any Attunement's Dead Stop, so you can't ever get the best weapons from these crates. Additionally, most PvPers don't have endless mountains of Umbral Shards, and with the new increase in cost to roll from 590 to 600 to 400 Umbral Shards, it's highly unlikely that people will be able to craft 20 purple armors per day

Overall, these changes should be a positive one - they should bring people back to OPR who don't want to deal with the headaches due to the lack of rewards, and it should make it easier for people to find more members for their invasions. Finally, it creates an Umbral Sink, which many players have been asking for for a long time.

So, when Season 4 goes live, enjoy shorter OVR queues and the new upgrade system! Thanks for reading, and as always, we'll see you in the next New World Guides article!

Guides for New Elements of Magic in the New World

Are you a New World player looking for more magical options in the game? In this guide article, we'll dive deeper into the potential for new elements of magic in the New World. Currently, the game has four elemental magic types: fire, ice, void (or darkness), and life (or light). However, many players are hoping for more elemental options, such as lightning, air, water, and time magic. These could be introduced through new weapons dedicated to these elements or by revisiting how existing weapons work. One possibility is a magical staff that offers various elemental schools to choose from. Alternatively, the game could stick with the current elemental weapon affinity focus. Players may also want to see a magical pet class that follows them around, similar to the sorceress in Diablo. While the introduction of new elements of magic could require a bigger rework for expansion, it would create interesting possibilities for weapons. For example, a magic mace could be earth-based, an
